Packaging Design Agency Dubai — From Concept to Retail-Ready

PACKAGING DESIGN

In a retail environment where a buyer makes their decision in three to five seconds, packaging is not just design — it is sales. The right packaging communicates product quality, reassures the buyer, and distinguishes your product from every alternative on the shelf. The wrong packaging costs you sales regardless of how good the product inside may be.

Kmistree is a Dubai-based packaging design agency with deep experience in the UAE and GCC retail market. We design packaging for food and beverage brands, beauty and personal care products, pharmaceutical retail packaging, corporate gifting, and consumer goods. Our work is guided by three requirements that every effective piece of packaging must meet: it must be visually distinctive, commercially viable, and fully compliant with UAE and GCC regulatory requirements.

Our Packaging Design Process

  1. Category research: We study your competitive shelf environment: who is next to you in the retail aisle, what visual codes define the category, and where the opportunity for differentiation exists.
  2. Structural brief: Before design begins, we establish the physical parameters: pack format, substrate options, print method, regulatory requirements (especially for bilingual Arabic/English text), and cost constraints.
  3. Design development: Multiple packaging concepts are developed, presented on photorealistic 3D renders so you can evaluate them as a consumer would see them — on a shelf, in a hand, in a hero photography context.
  4. Regulatory compliance: All packaging is reviewed against UAE and GCC food, beauty, or product labelling regulations. We ensure all mandatory elements (Arabic text, ingredient declarations, nutritional panels, country of origin, barcode placement) are included and correctly formatted.
  5. Print production management: We manage the relationship with your chosen printer (or recommend print partners from our UAE supplier network), ensuring the final product matches the approved design.

Yes. Kmistree has specific expertise in sustainable packaging design and materials selection including FSC-Certified board, biodegradable laminates, recycled content substrates, and soy-based printing inks. We can help you specify a packaging solution that meets your sustainability goals without compromising design quality or shelf impact. See our Sustainable Production page for more information.
We offer full packaging production management as an optional extension to the design project.
