The Challenge

Ginco Constructions relocated from their Dubai Silicon Oasis office to its new office in GMG Tower in Business Bay, Dubai headquarters to a new multi-floor office space and approached Kmistree with a brief to brand the entire physical environment: reception, corridors, meeting rooms, parking lots, internal signages, breakout areas, and external signage. The relocation coincided with a period of significant business growth — Ginco was expanding its project portfolio and growing its team — and the leadership team was clear that the new office needed to communicate that growth trajectory to every visitor, prospective client, and new employee who walked through the door.

The challenge was scope and coordination. Office branding at this scale is not simply the production of wall graphics and signage graphics. It requires a design system that integrates with architectural finishes, lighting, materials etc. Kmistree needed to work within the strict timeframe to deliver and install before the office starts working.

The deadline was fixed by the office opening date, which gave a non-negotiable installation window of 20 days immediately prior to the handover from the fit-out contractor.

The Approach

The Kmistree team conducted a detailed site survey of the space in its fit-out phase — photographing all surfaces, recording dimensions, and documenting each area. This survey produced the base from which all design decisions were made, ensuring that artwork was sized, positioned, and specified to account for the actual space rather than floor plan drawings.

The design concept for office branding was built around three narrative zones: Vision, People & Achievement. The designed elements focused on people, machinery and environment. A large picture of an engineer (a large-format photographic wall wrap) combined with Ginco’s flagship completed projects. Meeting room with illustrations of construction equipment used as a reminder to push team to strive for excellence.

Production was managed by multiple teams (signage, graphic etc) end-to-end: artwork development, proofing on physical substrate samples, production scheduling, and a 20-15 days installation by a specialist team working around the fit-out contractor’s sign-off schedule.

The Output

• Reception feature wall: large-format photographic print, 8m x 3m, on specialist wall wrap material
• Corridor typographic timeline installation: 10 linear metres
• 2 meeting room feature graphics
• Directional signage system: Floor markers, room identification plates, lift lobby signs
• Parking Signages
• Door Signage / emergency signages
• External building signage: Illuminated logomark panel
• Municipality submission and approval
• Installation and maintenance

The Outcome

The Ginco Constructions headquarters branding was completed prior to the day of office opening. Ginco business development team reports that it consistently generates positive reviews / comments and questions from visiting clients within the first minutes of a meeting.

The directional signage system often an afterthought in office branding — proved particularly valuable in a multi-floor space where visitors previously struggled to navigate independently. improvement in employee engagement with corporate communications on social media. The team has received many significantly higher engagement (reactions and shares) than the previous template-based content.

Client Voice

“Our office building doesn’t just look like us — it tells our story from the parking lot to the office environment. Every client who comes in sees what we’ve built and where we’re going. Kmistree understood the brief completely and delivered something we’re genuinely proud of and will give them more work for sure.”
