The Challenge
The Pampers Pure product launch in the UAE required a complete suite of event materials and retail point-of-sale assets that were aligned with the brand’s core sustainability promise. Pampers Pure is positioned as a premium, eco-conscious product line, featuring plant-based materials and no harmful chemicals — and the materials used to promote it needed to embody the same values. The brief was explicit: no standard plastic-heavy production. Every physical touchpoint needed to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to responsible production.
The production challenge was significant. Finding compliant, visually premium alternatives within the same production timeline and cost parameters required both supplier relationships and materials expertise that most local agencies could not provide.
Additionally, the materials needed to meet global P&G brand guidelines while incorporating locally relevant design elements for the UAE market.
The Approach
Kmistree mapped the full production requirement across four categories: launch event installations, props, interactive literature for moms and kids and gifting elements for media and influencer outreach. For each category, the team identified the specific sustainability constraints and then sourced compliant material alternatives:
Event installations: Recycled cardboard structure / backdrops with water-based ink printing, replacing standard foam-core and vinyl constructions
Props: FSC-certified kraft paper / board units with biodegradable laminates, structurally engineered to carry product weight without plastic internal supports
Interactive literature: Uncoated recycled stock with soy-based inks, achieving colour accuracy comparable to standard coated stock through press calibration
Influencer gifting: Seed paper wrap (plantable after use), kraft box with water-based adhesive, no plastic inserts
Each material selection was documented with its sustainability credentials, recycled content percentage, certification, end-of-life disposal route, and submitted to the P&G brand team for approval before production commenced. Kmistree managed all supplier coordination, quality control, and delivery logistics during the product launch. This ensured that every future touchpoint, whether produced by Kmistree or by a third-party supplier – would maintain visual consistency.
The Output
- Launch event installation: Freestanding brand display (6m x 3m) in recycled corrugated cardboard structure with digital print on recycled substrate
- Props: 15-12 units produced for the guests
- Interactive literature: Story books – 200 units, Boxes – 30 units
- Influencer unboxing kit: 100 units produced with full sustainable materials specification
- Sustainability materials report: Documenting recycled content, certifications, and carbon reduction vs standard production for P&G internal reporting
The Outcome
The Pampers Pure UAE launch was delivered on schedule across at the event touchpoints. The sustainable materials approach was recognized by the P&G brand team as a benchmark for future UAE campaign production — the sustainability documentation produced by Kmistree was included in P&G’s regional sustainability reporting for the quarter.
The influencer gifting kit generated organic social media content from 100 of the 60 recipients within 72 hours of delivery, with several creators specifically highlighting the packaging as ‘on brand’ — an unprompted validation of the sustainable production brief.
